The Dark Carnival Returns...

Okay, so we may have skipped September, but oh frickin' well. After all, it was the Gathering and the Gathering was major psycho nuts, so it took us a while to recover! After beating around the bush (neden) for the last month and a half, we've finally compiled a review of the latest addition to the ICP collection, and, as Violent J puts it, "The return of the Dark Carnival.": BANG! POW! BOOM!

We've been waiting for this for a while, and the clowns truly delivered. Not that Juggalos really gave a shit about this kind of stuff, but it did debut at #4 on the Billboard Top 200, #1 on the Top Rock Album Charts, #1 on the Top Indy Album Charts, and #3 on the Top Rap Album Charts! Which is pretty damn dope shit from 'The Most hated Band in the World'!

The insane clowns are now back with Mike E. Clark to drop even fresher neck-cuttin' beats and wicked wig-splittin' verses. Fangoria Magazine had this to say, "While it’s not incredibly likely we’ll see ICP plastered all over MTV, or hogging mainstream radio time, it isn’t inconceivable. “In Yo Face”, “To Catch A Predator”, “Boing Boing”, “I Found A Body”, “Juggalo Island” and “Vera Lee” are all catchy enough offerings to warrant considerable rotation. They may not be appropriate, or politically correct songs, but they’re damn addictive just the same".

They're definitely bringing back some old skool freshness with three different versions of the release. the need for decoder goggles that you can only get with a previously released limited edtion sampler to decipher hidden messages in the liner notes. One of the messages lead to a number to call, and even more shit like that. Of course, we're not gonna tell you EVERYTHING. You gotta go buy the album for yourself to find out.

Juggalo News has put up some links to preview all three versions of Bang Pow Boom. Click here to go check it out if you haven't yet.
